I have chosen to run perpetually for my alternate identity. I will wear my running shoes, shirt, and shorts, wear a headband and wristbands and make myself a number that I will fasten to my shirt. I will run everywhere: to class, in class, in the grocery store, around my apartment, etc. Whenever I run through a doorway or reach a certain destination, I will throw up my arms in victory and celebrate.
This will take place everywhere I go. I find it interesting that it is not a social norm to run places, even if you're in a hurry. If someone is running down the street, people look at that person oddly. They think, "Why is that dork running? Maybe he should have left home earlier." Why is it looked down upon to run in public? I am taking into account the fact that running in street clothes is probably what makes those people seem odd. But if they were dressed in athletic attire, then all is well.
But I am taking the norm of running in athletic clothing to a different context. I will be running in normal running clothes, but in odd places. Like through campus, in hallways, in stores and shops; all places where you're not supposed to run.
